"We were introduced to doctors Reed Harrison, Jessica Harrison and
Brian Hodes of the Rose Hill Veterinary Clinic in May 2011. Our
first experience with the clinic was treating our alpaca herd. We
soon discovered that Jessica and Brian, recent Kansas State Veterinary
School graduates, brought with them an outstanding personal touch to
veterinary medicine, as well as the very latest hands-on technical
knowledge of animal husbandry. During the summer of 2011, our alpaca
herd was touched by the intense heat, as were many livestock
operations. It soon became apparent that their background and
training was exemplary as they treated one of our prized alpacas that
suffered a heat stroke. Through their guidance, counsel, and personal
knowledge of our animals, they were able to save the life of one of
our favorite alpacas."

"There was no annoying music playing while I waited or during my visit.
I appreciated that they didn't have that typical elevator music on.
They always go above and beyond to help me with anything I need. They
never complain about anything, and I know I can always count on them.
I have heard horror stories of people's pets being misdiagnosed by
their veterinarians, but that is not something you have to worry about
here. I have never had a bad experience and I have complete faith in
their care. The examining rooms at their office were clean and free of
odor. I can tell they really strive to keep their office looking and
smelling nice. The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is
their high level of customer service. Their full attention is always
on me and they never take personal calls during my appointment. I've
been to other places that answer their phone and it just drives me
Words cannot express the care, concern and compassion Dr. Jessica and
Dr. Brian showed us last Wednesday (7/25) after the freak storm. This
is the first time we've been able to express much after the death of our
Dr. Jessica instinctively knew we would blame ourselves and was quick to clarify we did all we could. We are still trying to accept that but it's good to hear from a professional and a true caring friend that we did.
Both doctors moved swiftly and talked us through the process of having to put Shorty down. Dr. Jessica helped us learn alot that day, and we grew up a little more. Just by her talking with us calmly and compassionately is more than we could ever expect or hope for. And just being there for all of it really helped.
We miss our beloved Shorty, he had such a presence and loving personality but to know we have Dr. Jessica and Dr. Brian looking out for our furry kids means so much.
We are not professional horse people, just backyard owners, we used to volunteer on the mounted police force but we never gave our boys up after the duty went away. They became our family we've had them for over 20 years, so when we lost Shorty it was a jolt.
